Brewing Guide
- Tea: 5 g per cup
- Water: 180 ml
- Temperature: 90–95°C (194–203°F)
- Steep Time: 3–4 minutes
- Method: Brew the tea in hot water and add sugar, honey, or another sweetener according to taste.
- Let it cool and refrigerate for approximately 2 hours.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve with ice.

How much caffeine is in a bowl?
A 2 g bowl has roughly 60–70 mg — about the same as a small coffee, but it arrives more gradually because matcha is rich in L-theanine. Most people describe the effect as steadier rather than stronger.
Do I need a bamboo whisk, or will a frother work?
A milk frother works and many people use one daily. A bamboo whisk produces a finer, more stable foam because the prongs break up clumps rather than spinning them. Start with whatever you own; upgrade if you get hooked.
Can I make a latte with ceremonial grade?
Yes, and it’s noticeably better than culinary grade in milk — sweeter, with none of the bitterness that makes people reach for syrup. Whisk 2 g with a splash of hot water first, then top with milk.
How long does an open tin stay good?
Around eight weeks at its best. It doesn’t spoil after that, but the colour dulls and the sweetness flattens. If you drink a bowl a day, the 30 g tin is sized to finish right about when it should.
